I have a few tricks and tips for soothing and posing babies while working in my Southern Illinois Studio… that’s why they call me the #babywhisperer LOL!

My favorite device for a newborn shoot may be one of the more well known shushing tricks in the newborn photography community, but maybe not the newborn parenting world… it’s the shusher!

So what is this bullet shaped contraption? Well… it is a device that literally says “shhhhhhhhhh” over and over. There are 3 settings which you can see the white shapes on the device. You just twist the orange arrow to the sound length you want and BAM! Baby goes right no sleep! Haha… I wish it was that easy… but this device does create the perfect amount of white noise to help those little ones get settled. The type of Baby Shusher I use has a 30 min timer and is battery operated. Perfect for my needs!

So where can you pick yours up at? Well right here of course!

Almost every parent tells me “that is even putting me to sleep!” and I tell them, go ahead, close your eyes! Get some rest while you can <3

I let them know where and how to get their hands on such a nifty device!

Have one? Want one? Just followed the link to get one? Tell me below!

Hello there! Thank you so much for stopping by to learn more about me! I am a Registered Nurse that has found a great love for photography! I enjoy photographing newborns, children, and families. My goal is to capture authentic smiles, real life moments, and the tiny details that bring your mind racing back to that exact moment 10, 20, 30 years from now. I also have 2 children, MadaLynn and Beckett and a wonderful husband John. In 2017 I completed my bachelors in nursing... while working as a nurse and a photographer. I love to laugh and I have a silly sense of humor!
