What to Wear Guide for Couples and Siblings:
So you booked your photography session and now are struggling with what to to wear?!? Let me help you! As you look through the what to wear guide you will see some some tips, tricks, and do’s and don’ts for modern photography sessions!
Do: Plan around color schemes
Don’t: Wear neon colors (don’t forget to look at kids shoes!)
Adding layers and texture to your wardrobe is a great way to add depth and interest. It also allows for variety during the session!
Do: Pay attention to details
I always try to dress in layers so I can either bundle up or shed them as the weather changes.
We all have a favorite outfit… so wear it! Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable, like a rock-star… like you are walking the red carpet! If you are not comfortable it will show :/ and we don’t want that!
My favorite places to shoot are in fields or on ground that isn’t always flat. If you prefer to wear heels during a session let me know, and we can choose a more urban like location for you! Something that will be more comfortable for walking around in heels in!
This color pallet is always a favorite of mine! you could chose the outfit based on these colors and then add a pop of color with accessories! These colors look great next to beach, urban, and spring like backgrounds!I love these colors on couples! So romantic and lovely <3 I can picture a maternity session outdoors or an engagement session with lots of sweet details and snuggly poses! For siblings this would look great for Spring sessions or even a cake smash! Oh the possibilities!Anyone that knows me knows that mustard yellow and navy is my favorite color combo to recommend! I think the right shade of yellow can really pop in a session, and it looks great on almost everyone! This color palate is one of my faves! These are the colors I am more inclined to choose for my own family, and I almost always add in mustard yellow! I hope you have enjoyed my what to wear guide for couples and siblings!
