Fresh 48 Session in Centralia, IL

Fresh 48 Session in Centralia, IL

Gone are the days of basic newborn photos. In today’s world we capture much more than that. Fresh 48 sessions are a unique and fun way to share the joy and love of your little one’s arrival. This momma contacted me requesting a Fresh 48 Session here in Centralia, IL at St. Mary’s Hospital. It was such a joy meeting her and her little one <3

With these sessions I focus on both the big picture and the details. As you can see in the picture above, I am including more of the room and adding in the experience the parents are enjoying at that time.  In this sweet photo below I am focusing on her feet <3 Those sweet tiny feet that are less than 48 hours old!

Momma really liked this cute little outfit, so we decided to add it in to the workflow. Nothing like capturing the things that mom loves. She is sure to love the photos this way <3

Everly was such a doll to work with. She later joined me with her siblings in the studio too! She has a lot of brothers and sisters to look after her as she grows!

So what is a Fresh 48 Session?
It is a session that is done in the hospital within 48 hours of baby’s arrival. I offer these sessions to expecting moms in my area. These sessions can be purchased on their own or as an add on to a swaddle or squish session (if added on a newborn session, I offer discounts!).
These sessions can include mom, dad, siblings or simply focus on just baby. I use natural light and bring minimal items (wraps and headbands) so that way the session is about the moment, the emotion, and the love in the room.

If you are interested in booking a Fresh 48 Session for you little ones arrival, or even as a gift to an expecting family reach out to me today!

Hello there! Thank you so much for stopping by to learn more about me! I am a Registered Nurse that has found a great love for photography! I enjoy photographing newborns, children, and families. My goal is to capture authentic smiles, real life moments, and the tiny details that bring your mind racing back to that exact moment 10, 20, 30 years from now. I also have 2 children, MadaLynn and Beckett and a wonderful husband John. In 2017 I completed my bachelors in nursing... while working as a nurse and a photographer. I love to laugh and I have a silly sense of humor!
