Fresh 48 Session in Mt. Vernon, IL

This sweet little sister is Jemma. I met her momma through a model call where her older sister was able to come model for me. I have loved getting to know this family and I am overjoyed at the arrival of Jemma. Jemma and her big sister Jolie (I LOVE LOVE LOVE these girls names) are only 13 months apart <3

Momma chose that beautiful floral wrap and matching headband for these photos. These were a gift from her good friend <3

Jemma was such a doll to work with. She later joined me with her sister and mom for photos and I cannot wait to share those with you (those just took place so they are not fully edited). I will go back and link that blog for those that are interested!

Jemma arrived a week earlier than expected- momma was prepared though as big sister came earlier than her due date too! Their parents are so laid back and full of love. I have enjoyed photographing these little ones <3

So what is a Fresh 48 Session?

It is a session that is done in the hospital within 48 hours of baby’s arrival. I offer these sessions to expecting moms in my area. These sessions can be purchased on their own or as an add on to a swaddle or squish session (if added on a newborn session, I offer discounts!).
These sessions can include mom, dad, siblings or simply focus on just baby. I use natural light and bring minimal items (wraps and headbands) so that way the session is about the moment, the emotion, and the love in the room.

If you are interested in booking a Fresh 48 Session for you little ones arrival, or even as a gift to an expecting family reach out to me today!

Hello there! Thank you so much for stopping by to learn more about me! I am a Registered Nurse that has found a great love for photography! I enjoy photographing newborns, children, and families. My goal is to capture authentic smiles, real life moments, and the tiny details that bring your mind racing back to that exact moment 10, 20, 30 years from now. I also have 2 children, MadaLynn and Beckett and a wonderful husband John. In 2017 I completed my bachelors in nursing... while working as a nurse and a photographer. I love to laugh and I have a silly sense of humor!
