Snow Maternity Session | Southern Illinois Photographer

Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow

When a client starts their sessions requests with something I have absolutely no control over, such as snow… I get nervous. With that being said, I have also learned that when I get nervous, things will go one of two ways. Either I will stress out and make everyone around me wish I would go away (no for real!) OR I put it into God’s hands and he makes me anxiety dissipate and magic happens.

I will let you decide which of those two things happened with this beautiful couple and their little baby bump!

I mean, how stinking cute is this momma to be?

Like seriously… I could go on and on about how I could photograph her all day. Also, that I am now wishing I could have snow a maternity session of my own, but that would include me being pregnant at the right time! lol

Can we just awe over that sunset a little too!?! Light makes me happy… soaking in the sun light for those few moments before sunset… ahhhh!!!!

Can you believe she wasn’t even cold? Maybe it’s all the hormones coursing through her body paired with the excitement of motherhood… yeah, we will go with that!

Wanna know the best thing about this session?

Dad gave me a Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cake to take home! I was literally headed to the store to buy some of these for my little guy at home. He had that specific request for his lunch the next day at school! That little gift brought me home 20 minutes sooner <3

Hello there! Thank you so much for stopping by to learn more about me! I am a Registered Nurse that has found a great love for photography! I enjoy photographing newborns, children, and families. My goal is to capture authentic smiles, real life moments, and the tiny details that bring your mind racing back to that exact moment 10, 20, 30 years from now. I also have 2 children, MadaLynn and Beckett and a wonderful husband John. In 2017 I completed my bachelors in nursing... while working as a nurse and a photographer. I love to laugh and I have a silly sense of humor!
