Baby Girl Newborn Studio Session | Southern Illinois Photographer

Hello Baby Girl

This sweet couple and their little girl came to me through past clients and from about an hour away. When I hear things like that it warms my heart!

While posing their little nugget, we got to chatting about how they lived in Clarksville, TN a while back and I started talking about the song “Take The Last Train to Clarksville” by The Monkey’s. I quickly realized that I was showing my age with both the parents and my assistant looked at me as if I was from another planet! LOL! Ok, maybe not that dramatic but you get the idea! I did have my assistant play the song so I could sing along while posing this sweet little nugget!

I absolutely loved all the girly things in this little ones session! She was the perfect little dainty princess to pull it all off. Just a bundle of sweetness in the studio!

New Floordrop Alert!

Just before her session I took a quick trip to Lowe’s and purchased a new backdrop and floor! I had to try it out ASAP, and I love it! I have used it several times recently, dressing it up in different ways, but it is a keeper. Want to see if your local Lowe’s offers the same ones? You can take a look at them here!

Here are a few other shots that I loved during her session! A little #boho (thanks to my girl at #SewDarnCute), a little #floral and a whole lot of cuteness! She makes it look easy!

Take a look at some of my favorite family shots from this session. I love posing babies and mommas <3 It makes my heart full every single time!

And one of my favorites:

Of course I had to dave the best for last <3

Did you know one of my favorite things is being a #newbornphotographymentor? Yes, I love to teach others how to post babies! If you are interested in learning about the basics, safety, lighting, and/or business give me a holla! I would love to come to you OR to host you in my Southern Illinois Studio!

My goal is to capture authentic smiles, real life moments, and the tiny details that bring your mind racing back to that exact moment 10, 20, 30 years from now. I also have 2 children, MadaLynn and Beckett and a wonderful husband John. In 2017 I completed my bachelors in nursing... while working as a nurse and a photographer. I love to laugh and I have a silly sense of humor!
